International Carnival
In this carnival feast there is the head of the queen represented with short cropped hair. I can see that there's a lot of pattern used like the one of the Greek symbol, or the zig-zag with black diagonal lines that are filled in the empty space of the pattern. Then there are the feathers on the top of the head that look like those of the ostrich. The celebration looks like it's represented in the same way like the ancient Egyptian used to do :
This is a painting found on a part of the wall, where ancient Egyptians used to create festivals and prepare for the celebration to begin and enjoy themselves with music, food and drinks.
This is another scene with dancers in the middle enjoying themselves and going around something they created/ something that means something special for them, which one of the basic subjects could be a funerary banquets.
The Columns are those sibling to the Egyptians, using leaves (that some represent the papyrus plant), round stand or straight rectangular stand is also shown in the picture which are applyed with a golden rich colour. This is the carnival of Brazil, celebrating the festival with all their energy and make the best out of it, feeling proud and free to have fun in that particular time.
These are carnival costumes of (men and women):
In the first picture there is the dancer costume(that is based on the orange colour which is quite a bright colour, including jewellery), in the second there's the princess of Egypt wearing a light white dress with sandals that match with the gold design,
These are the Egyptian masks:
These are masks of Bast and two Anubis. They are developed into a mechanical but in an Egyptian style, representing the gold colours as an important rich roles.
This is of a Royal Egyptian Mask which features a lot of gold and a jeweled headdress.
This is the Egyptian adult half masquerade, that is designed very elegant and of an important character.
This is the mask of the Egyptian God of the Moon. It's made in simpler design using lines and the main symbol of the moon.

Task 2: Carnival, Egyptian influences -Design
Egyptian Clothing:
These are the musicians and dancers wearing very light clothes. They either wear adornment clothing or no clothes at all, as the Egyptian climate in summer and beginning of winter the temperature will be very high. In the later kingdom clothing became more adorned.
These are wedding dresses of a recent designer (Zuhair Murad) -(designs of the spring/summer 2011) that has been inspired from the Egyptian clothing -light adored dresses with golden accessories that glamour the rest of the design. The high heels she's wearing also reminds of that of the Egyptian sandals footwear that are made of the plant called 'reed'.

Egyptian style -contemporary sandals with golden design and thin bronze straps that represent a majestic richness.
Here I'm showing another example of sandals that is flat and decorated with small golden stones, that reminded me of the Egyptian necklace, these represent the gods symbolic animals (the fire and the glory of the sun).
A good example of this model hair style is that it resembles the goddess of Egypt which she used to wear -the wig (short shoulder length), it used to be maintained with wax. It also looks like the patterned braids that we see in today's fashion (especially in summer time).
Talking about the head part of the body, the Egyptian gods used to wear the headdress crown:
These are the crowns the King
Crown -in the film of Cleopatra
This is one example (replica) of the Queen's crown, wearing the winged solar disk that represents the sun, it has the wings going down over her shoulders, the snakes that meet in the middle and then there's the sun on top.
Looking at Cleopatra's eyes...
show another artistic talent -make up design that is also verified on the wall painting of the Egyptians, sculptures and so much others, this was part of their culture.
Linking the eyes of the Egyptians that are represented wide and stretched, I compare it to the carnival masks of Venice.
Such a colourful mask using bright showy colours, with patterns of tears going down her cheek, also using gold on the perfect form of the lips decorated with other types of beads and materials.
Here I'm showing a close up painting of the ancient Egypt that is representing the accessories that they're wearing. The picture next to it is a recent famous design bracelet that has been inspired from them including the hieroglyphics symbols.

Task 2: Egyptian -Art
Egyptian Construction
The great ancient Egyptians have taught the whole world the precision knowledge of sculpting and building (they were the first builders).
Rekhmire is an ancient Egyptian noble who served the ''Governor of the town''. He was noted to construct a decorated tomb for himself in 'Sheik Abd el-Qurna' on the West Bank, Luxor (the greatest place which were found a number of preservation of monuments). In his tomb contains a full copy of detailed text.
Sorrowfully the tomb was
The tomb of Rekhmire
This is one of them (it shows all the process of how they worked things out):
Building pyramids by hands and manual tools -Primitive Work (the stones were quarry blocks):
Pyramid of Khufu
This is the great pyramid, 3rd of the largest in the Giza Necropolis, Egypt (tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years).
These are the famous sphinx sculptors that are set up in a row:
Luxor, ancient Thebes in Egypt
The sphinx has a lion's body and a human head, they're sculpted in a firm and in a still position just like guards.
These are several different column designs that are Egyptian:
These columns are decorated very naturally, representing leaves and designed with a bit of floral design, there are also faces that are placed at the top of the column.
Most of the Egyptians temples were with giant portraits that covered the walls:
The tomb of the nobles, Sennefer. Very colourful, decorated with patterns and symbolic designs.

Task 2: Egyptian influences -Design
The film of 'The Prince of Egypt'-1998 represents the history of the Egyptians which also shows the living surrounding
Slaves working on the sculpture of the Egyptian’s king’s sculpture
In the film they're representing paint on walls just like the ancient Egyptians have, this is to show like a story telling on the wall showing with symbols and actions of what was going on/ how the procedure used to be.
Here I took a shot of the Egyptians pharaoh interior, which I link to the modern designed bedrooms that stylize the Egyptians.
The first gaze on this modern bedroom was the colour of the walls designed with a simple pattern, the colour of the curtains and the lampshades, the plant pots that are designed with a bubbly golden design. The ceiling design is repeated from the headrest bed, I also link the legs of the bed that looks like the Egyptian columns those that has the structure of the head at the top.Overall I link the headrest bed to the last screen shot I took. Behind the royal master that supervise most of the responsible things, there's a stone with fans coming out from it which I associate it to the headrest.
The necklace is representing the 'winged sun disk', the round disk is the sun with the stretched wings together with the snakes joined at the sides.
This is Isis the goddess (cleoptra) wearing the long wig and the crown that is representing the feathers of the peacock. Here we can also notice the jewellery she's wearing around her arm.
Nowadays you see it in jewelery shops, which that indicates an influencial in fashion from the Egyptians:
A spiral cobra armlet
This is a building in 'Place du Cairo', Paris designed in 1828, which there are represented the heads of Hathor sculptures, including Egyptian carving on wall.
Here I'm showing an example with a timeline that represents the influences of the Egyptians, this is a process of chairs (furniture) that were designed by well known designers:
Furniture design has started from the beginning of history. What is included in the timeline are the different styles that changed from time to time.
The Art Deco is one particular style that takes influences from the first source, so Egyptian was one that inspired them.
Another example of art deco style that was inspired by Egyptians:
This chair has been made in Italy and then finished in USA, the silver chair framing is designed from the egyptian feather fans (sunshade) that was mostly popular in the Pharaoh.
This has effected the fascination of Ancient Egypt that was being developed in clothing, jewellery, furniture, graphic design and architecture.
This is a scarab necklace, which was a symbol of protection. It has been designed by beth voltz who bases on jewelery designs.
This jewellery looks like it's made out of metal, it has a lot of texture lines especially on the wings, that lead to one point perspective and the main point is the scarab.
This is a graphic design based on the art deco, I see that the designer may got influenced from a patterns and experimenting with colours.
